Overview
Form of Music is a platform that translates a song into a unique physical and visual object. The software analyzes musical notes, rhythm, timbre, and structure, then maps them to form, texture, and volume.
Each resulting object becomes a tangible representation of the music you can look at it, hold it, and even display it as a 3D artefact.
Method & Process
The system analyzes each song’s rhythm, frequency, and structure, translating them into visual and spatial parameters. These values generate a 3D model that reflects the song’s dynamics and harmony. The forms are then refined for fabrication balancing structural logic with the expressive qualities of the music.
